I never forget one of my favorite Birthday cakes ever...It was when I was living in Mexico City in the 70's, mom had ordered a cinderella cake for my 9th Birthday, I can still remember how it tasted, it was a delicious vanilla sponge cake and the icing was like Meringue... Funny how I ended up in the shoe business and now Im baking Cakes...maybe there was inspiration already from back then...
all I know is that looking back at this picture I'm quite impressed at what they could do already back then... Happy birthday to old times...
